Visitation Restrictions

Due to the growing number of influenza cases seen
locally, the Mendota Community Hospital is restricting the age of visitors in their facility.
Effective immediately and until further notice, hospital visitors are limited to those 18 years of age and older. This step is being taken to help ensure the safety of our patients. In addition children and adolescents have been particularly susceptible to the flu season viruses and may be contagious prior to showing any symptoms.
The hospital also asks for families to limit the number of relatives and friends accompanying patients to the Emergency Room, the Primary Care Offices and Outpatient Surgery areas and it is strongly recommended that anyone showing flu like symptoms refrain from visiting patients in the hospital entirely.
