Foundation
Health is a gift we often don’t appreciate….until we lose it. When you lose your good health, your life and the lives of those you love change. Each year, hundreds of people, including your family, friends, and neighbors, seek help, healing and hope at MCH.

To provide an excellent standard of care, the hospital brings together talented, dedicated healthcare professionals and advanced technology. The Mendota Community Hospital Foundation seeks “friends” to help maintain this standard of excellence. With support, MCH can accomplish great things. Gifts from individuals and organizations are vital to the continuing success of MCH. Please consider giving a gift to the Mendota Community Hospital Foundation.
There are many ways to give to MCH. Planned giving, includes such items as wills, bequests, revocable trusts, charitable remainder uni-trust, life insurance, etc. Planned giving usually requires legal counsel to assist the donor. Annual giving is generally provided each year from donors who make gifts in the form of cash or check. Gifts of Remembrance are a special way of marking events or occasions while supporting MCH.

MCH must rely on private donations to stay on the cutting edge of service and technology. Your gift of $25.00, 50.00 or more will help the MCH Foundation support patient care, purchase new equipment, fund projects, support staff, and make available patient education. All of these items assist the hospital in serving you better. Please realize that every gift is significant, no matter how large or small.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT.
Tree of Life
Years ago Vikings use to tell stories of a tree that supported the universe. The roots of this mighty tree grew deep into the ground. The trunk held up the earth, and its sturdy branches reached beyond the sky. The Tree of Life symbolizes the strength and life that Mendota Community Hospital gives to this community.
The Tree of Life is a lasting memorial to the friends of Mendota Community Hospital who have donated money so that the hospital can reach out and provide quality healthcare to the communities it serves.
The Tree of Life is located on the ground level of the hospital across from the Radiology Department. The Tree is made up of stones and leaves.

Bronze stones at the base of the Tree of Life, pay tribute to those who cumulative donation total to the hospital has reached $25,000.
The stones symbolize the solid foundation upon which Mendota Community Hospital’s future is built.
Each gold leaf on the Tree of Life symbolizes a cumulative gift of $10,000.
The Mendota Community Hospital Foundation invites you to be a part of the mighty “Tree of Life”. The growth of the hospital’s tree, through your tax-deductible gift, will insure the future growth of MCH. Your gift will be used to support the outstanding services, programs, and projects of MCH.
