Mendota Community Hospital has always been more than just a hospital; it has been a cornerstone of the Mendota community.  Prior to opening the orginal hospital in 1951, residents, business people and corporations of Mendota and surrounding communities donated all of the funds required to build and equip the Mendota Community Hospital, using no tax dollars.  These donations the hospital, in every sense of the word, a community project.

BE PART OF THE TRADITION
Following in the footsteps of tradition the new Mendota Community Hospital will not collect any tax dollars, and will strive to continue to define a community hospital.  Passionate citizens will have the opportunity to engrave their names on a wall, or name benches, rooms and even the hospital itself.

A donation of $1,000 places your name on a wall plaque commemorating those who have contributed to the hospital. Larger donations give the immeasurable, everlasting opportunity to name part of the hospital and become part of the Mendota tradition.

Mendota Community Hospital has always honored the memories of heroes of the community – here is your opportunity to become part of the tradition and become a community hero today.
