Mendota Chamber Beautification Award November 12, 2012 MCH has received another accolade - a special compliment from the Mendota community. On November 9, 2012 during the annual Chamber of Commerce Dinner MCH was named a co-recipient of the Beautification Award (along with First State Bank). Mendota Community Hospital Recieves Award October 01, 2012 Mendota Community Hospital recently received an Award of Excellence from the Illinois Health Cares ?Coalition, a state wide health initiative working to educate and bring awareness about the adverse health consequences caused from direct and indirect exposure to violence. Sponsored by the Illinois Department of Public Health and the Illinois Violence Prevention Authority, IHC has eight sites throughout the state. The local affiliate of the IHC serves LaSalle, Livingston, and Bureau counties and is based out of Streator, IL. Board members of the local affiliate are from seven area hospitals, one Medical Center, two active health departments, two domestic violence and sexual assault agencies, a community college, one nursing home, and one assisted living center more... |
