Big Move Made By Mendota Community Hospital November 25, 2011 From the smallest office waste basket to the 1,095 pound Laboratory Chemistry Analyzer, three semi trucks moved Mendota Community Hospital from its location on Memorial Drive to its new home on Route 34 east of Mendota. The move was made over a four day period with multiple trips back and forth each day to accomplish the enormous task of transporting equipment, furniture, and supplies to the hospital’s new location. more... |

Mendota Community Hospital Welcomes Karen Nenne, N.P. September 13, 2012 Mendota Community Hospital is excited to welcome Karen S. Nenne, APN/FNP, to its Physician Services of MCH staff. Ms. Nenne received a Diploma in Nursing in 1987 from the Methodist School of Nursing in Peoria, IL and began her career that year on the nursing staff at St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, IL, working in medical oncology and obstetrics. For over 18 years she worked in single and group physician practice offices before returning to the hospital setting in June, 2008, when she accepted a position on the oncology staff at Methodist Medical Center of Illinois in Peoria. She went on to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, graduating Summa Cum Laude, from Kaplan University in Des Moines, IA, in June, 2009. While continuing to work at Methodist Medical Center, Ms. Nenne graduated with her Master’s degree in Nursing and Family Nurse Practice from Illinois State University, Bloomington, IL in May, 2012. more... |
