Mendota Community Hospital Board Selects New Name

December 10, 2014 Mendota, IL – Last week the Board of Directors for Mendota Community Hospital unanimously agreed that the new name for the hospital should be OSF Saint Paul Medical Center. The name will become effective when Mendota Community Hospital officially joins OSF Healthcare System sometime in the spring of 2015 when a blessing and dedication ceremony will take place.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) every year there are more than 150,000 toy related emergency room visits. During the holiday season toy sales skyrocket and so do injuries. The most recent data shows that Christmastime toy related injuries resulted in visits to emergency rooms by 82,000 children 5 years old and younger.Supervise your child at play; Maintain their toys by checking them regularly; Select age appropriate toys.
