Our thanks to everyone who attended Mendota Community Hospital’s Open House on November 6 at the hospital’s new facility on east Route 34.  If you were unable to visit the NEW Mendota Community Hospital enjoy our photos below.

We are so proud of our new hospital. Our staff enjoyed sharing details about the new building and how it will positively affect patient care. It was fun showing off our new equipment and talking about current, new and future services that MCH will provide the area. Over 2,000 individuals came out to the Open House Sunday and we thank everyone who stood in line and waited patiently to see all the great things inside! We look forwardto serving our communities from this new location later this year.


Mendota Community Hospital is even more proud of their employees. What a wonderful group of people who worked together tirelessly as a team to host the Open Houses held during the first week of November. Everydepartment was involved in planning and participating in this once in a lifetime event. MCH salutes its fantastic staff. THANK YOU ONE AND ALL!


New Facility Map & Directions

If you are coming from:


  • The Chicagoland area or Northern Suburbs, use I-294 south orI-355 south to I-88 west, then to I-39 south.
  • Also from Chicago, I-55 south to I-80 west may be used to reach I-39 north.
  • The western suburbs, use I-88 west to I-39 south.
  • Southern Suburbs, take I-80 west to I-39 north.   The exit off I-39 for Mendota is exit #72, Route 34, Mendota-Earlville, turn west (right) onto Route 34 and in 1 mile you will see our new Facility on the left (south) side of the road.  
  • From other areas, north or south of Mendota, use I-39, U.S. Route 52 or U.S. Route 251 then take U.S. Route 34 east.   For visitors from the east or west of Mendota use U.S. Route 34.
