Years ago Vikings
use to tell stories of a tree that supported the universe. The
roots of this mighty tree grew deep into the ground. The trunk
held up the earth, and its evergreen boughs reached beyond the
sky. The Tree of Life symbolizes the strength and life that
Mendota Community Hospital gives to this community.
The Tree of Life is a
lasting memorial to the friends of Mendota Community Hospital who
have donated money so that the hospital can reach out and provide
quality healthcare to the communities it serves.
The Tree of Life is
located on the ground level of the hospital across from the
Radiology Department. The Tree is made up of stones and leaves. |
